Legally Addictive Foods started in Brooklyn, NY over 6 years ago when the founder Laura Shafferman discovered a way to turn a family recipe into a commercial, shelf-stable product. In the beginning, a few stores in New York City agreed to carry Legally Addictive Foods, including the flagship location of Dylan’s Candy Bar, as well as Williams Sonoma and the Kimpton Hotel Group. Today, Legally Addictive Foods is carried in over 1500 retailers and hotels and has just moved to a 6,800 sqft production space in Weaverville, NC in July '22.
