Retail is definitely in Tim’s blood! For 2 generations his family owned a mercantile, then he went on to spend 10 years with New York & Company. Having gained vast experience in store operations, visual and buying experience there , he was ready to branch out on his own and opened Metropolitan Deluxe in the hip Atlanta neighborhood of Virginia Highlands. Over the next 17 years the lifestyle store evolved into an 11 store chain of eclectic gifts, home accessories and furnishings located throughout the Southeast. Many of you already know Tim, as he’s been a valued contributor to our showroom for years. He knows what a retailer wants, how to communicate effectively to match their style, and how to direct them to what works.

Carla comes to us with over 25 years of experience in the Home & Gift industry. She has spent the past 15 focusing on the key account business, most recently in National Account Sales for Evergreen Enterprises. Her area of concentration has been on department store sales (private label to in-line product and everything in between) and she has worked with all classes of trade during her career. Carla is a top-performing sales leader that caught our eye not only for her relevant experience, but also for her excellent communication skills and belief that outstanding customer relationships are the keys to success.
